Back to the Garden

From Glass Houses Magazine – Issue #3 –

I have never had a problem with nudity, or being nude, but I was brought up in a pretty conservative family, so my latent hippie has really only recently emerged as I slide unwillingly into middle age.

I think it may be the realization that my time here is limited that made me start to contemplate how so much of my behaviour and attitudes were not really my own, but the product of my upbringing and guilt over the judgement of others.… View the full post...

What to do?

I’ve taken some time to think before writing this blog.

Part of me was afraid that I will say the wrong thing, or piss someone off, or come across the wrong way, but ultimately as many have said – Silence is Complicity.

We have all seen the horrific George Floyd video. I forced myself to watch the full 8+ minutes, which really brings it home so much more than the media clips.

Full disclosure here. I am white and over 60.… View the full post...

Self Image

So I thought I would start my blogging with some of my own observations and thoughts about self image. It’s a real thing, and the funny thing is that pretty much everyone I meet has the same kind of thoughts about themselves. Photo Shoot: Anja at Home

My last photo shoot before we all ended up staying home was with beautiful Anja, appropriately enough at her home.

It was the first photo shoot I have done at a model’s home, so I was not sure what to expect.

I shoot with my fixed focal length 50mm/1.4 lens, which is my favorite, and it is pretty forgiving in low light conditions. The down side is that it’s hard to get back far enough sometimes, especially in more confined spaces.… View the full post...

Model Interview: Cute Lilvibes

This is the first in a series of interviews with models I have worked with. It’s great to see the photos, but it’s always nice to learn a little bit about the models.

I shot with Cute Lilvibes in February 2020 at The Fancy Loft in Toronto.

GH: When did you start modeling nude?

CLV: I started modelling nude in July 2019

GH: Who is someone in the modeling world you look up to and why?

CLV: The first person to come to mind is @princessfierce.… View the full post...

Glass Houses Magazine: Issue #15

The May 2019 issue of Glass Houses Magazine was the 4th submitted Cover Girl issue and it features stunning Melodie by Montreal area photographer Ron Hep.

Ron had periodically posted photos of Melodie on his Instagram, and I was entranced. I just love her look. She is such a cutie with her tight slim sexy body and such a pretty face and gorgeous eyes. I had to feature her, so I approached Ron and he agreed to feature her on Glass Houses Magazine.… View the full post...
